If you’re using any kind of meeting room booking system and plan to have users in the EU, you must make sure you are GDPR compliant as well - you are, after all, processing their data. As such, there are a couple of things you should be aware of:
- YAROOMS allows you to define a Data Protection Officer (under Account > Global Settings)
- All YAROOMS data is encrypted at rest
- If your company requires us to sign a DPA (data protection agreement), all you have to do is get in touch with one of our reps and we’ll gladly help out
We are aware this new regulation can seem difficult to navigate, and as such we expect a lot of related inquiries in the following days - rest assured, we’re more than happy to help you sort things out.
If you’re in the EU or have users on your YAROOMS account who are EU citizens, you can get in touch with us from within your account. Simply log on to your account and, in the top right corner of your screen, click on the “?” and then on “Get support”. We’ll be in touch as soon as possible thereafter.
