Location Managers

From Old to New: How to Replace Location Managers with Custom Roles.

🚨 The concept of Location Managers as a dedicated user type has recently been retired from Yarooms.

Previously, you could assign a Location Manager to a specific location by adding their name in the Managers field found on that location’s details page. A Location Manager had full access rights to that location, including its Analytics, and could create, edit, or cancel bookings on behalf of all users within that location.

✅ What’s New?

While the dedicated Location Manager field is no longer available, the same level of control can still be granted—and even more flexibly—using custom access roles.

With custom roles, you can assign location-specific or global administrative rights to any user, giving them exactly the level of access they need. This approach offers greater customization and consistency across your organization.
