How legacy login affects users
If legacy login is enabled, users may be able to sign in with their YAROOMS credentials either by password or by the email-verification alternative tied to legacy login.
If legacy login is disabled:
- Users can no longer use the YAROOMS credential flow, including both password sign-in and the email-verification alternative tied to legacy login
- Password reset options may no longer be shown
- Users must sign in using the configured single sign-on option for the account
Disabling legacy login is useful when you want to remove the password-based option and keep the sign-in experience aligned with your organization’s authentication policy.
How to disable legacy login
If you do not want users to see the legacy email-and-password option, you can disable legacy login in your account settings.
