A room booking panel mirrors your booking system on a screen at the door. Four things happen there:

1. Status - colour-coded availability, plus the current booking's owner, title and end time, and the rest of the day's schedule.
2. Booking - anyone can reserve the room on the spot for an open slot, with conflict prevention applied automatically.
3. Check-in - whoever booked confirms they have arrived, which keeps the reservation active.
4. Adjustment - extend the meeting if the room is free afterwards, or end early to release it.

Yes. Anyone standing at the door can reserve the room for an available slot, choose how long they need it and start the meeting - no laptop, no phone, no app. YAROOMS applies conflict prevention automatically, so a panel booking cannot overlap an existing reservation, and it syncs straight back to Outlook and Google Calendar.

Yes. YAROOMS Room Panel shows the same availability as your Outlook and Microsoft 365 calendars, and a booking made at the door appears in them within seconds. The reverse holds too - a room booked in Outlook shows as occupied on the panel before anyone walks up to it. Google Calendar and Google Workspace work the same way.
