Desks & Rooms: What Sets Them Apart

The main differences between desks and rooms.

The YAROOMS solution offers Admins the flexibility to define a wide range of space types. However, these space types primarily exhibit two main behaviors: they can function like desks (suitable for single bookings) or like rooms (ideal for single bookings accommodating multiple attendees). For instance, a ‘Parking Space’ will operate as a desk, while a ‘Theatre Auditorium’ will function as a room.

Summary:

  • The “Is Workspace” option (Yes-Desks, No-Rooms),
  • Rooms do not count towards the location’s/floor’s max capacity, they have their own max attendees capacity.
  • The ability to ‘Enable Invites’.
  • The ability to ‘Set a Max Capacity’.
