The Faculty of Arts and Sciences serves as the unifying focal point, comprising faculties from social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences across five different schools within Columbia University.
The partnership began in 2016.
The Challenge
Before implementing the solution, each Faculty’s building maintained separate administrative staff handling different booking processes. This fragmented approach proved inefficient, and the absence of standardized space management protocols frequently resulted in overlapping meetings. Coordinating bookings through calls or emails became time-consuming and difficult to track.

The Solution
The initiative introduced agility to the university while enabling staff autonomy through a single hub for locating and booking appropriate rooms anywhere on campus in under one minute.
