Our score: 8.9/10. YAROOMS offers the strongest price-to-feature balance on the list, the entire visitor journey in one flat rate, nothing tiered. One honest caveat: it skips niche extras like two-way texting between hosts and visitors or ID scanning that a few competitors offer.

2. Greetly by OfficeSpace, Best For iPad-First Enterprises

Greetly is a visitor management app that turns a tablet at your front desk into a digital receptionist. It’s part of OfficeSpace , so it can grow into full workplace management if you need it later.

The fine print sits in Pro, that’s where photo capture, custom forms, brand customization, visitor analytics, emergency evacuations, and Slack/Teams notifications live. So the entry plan handles a standard front desk well, but customizing much beyond that moves you to the higher tier. An Enterprise tier with block lists and compliance support exists too, but its custom pricing puts it beyond our cap.

Our score: 8.8/10. What earns it: a strong feature set even at the Starter tier, and an award-winning user experience. What caps it: security and compliance credentials are vaguely documented, with no named certifications. The limits are where to pay attention: Starter covers a single location with one device and a monthly check-in allowance, and several everyday features, NDA signing, physical badge printing, emergency evacuation, only arrive with Premium. Deeper extras like Slack integration and blacklisting are Enterprise-only.

Our score: 8.6/10. Vizitor offers serious security, ISO 27001 certified, at the lowest price on this list, plus a free plan and no special hardware. Why not higher? The cheap Starter plan is quite limited: check-ins are capped monthly, and features most offices want, like NDA signing and badge printing, only come with Premium.

What About Envoy, and Why Isn’t It on This List?

After reading about the tools above, it’s a fair question: Envoy is the biggest name in visitor management. The answer is our price cap.

Envoy’s Basic plan is genuinely free, up to 100 sign-ins a month with host notifications, enough for a quiet lobby. But there’s a cliff right after free: the next tier, Premium, costs $362 per location/month billed annually (Envoy pricing, verified July 2026), nearly double our budget. And that’s the tier where the features most offices actually want live, branding, badge printing, visitor photos, analytics.
